Monday, March 5, 2018 - Very fine bubbles, nice depth of color, though otherwise showing it's youth at first. This grew in interest with a bit of air, nice green apple and Chardonnay fruit, and DP muskiness and yeast emerging with time. Reasonable depth, superb balance and structure, there is almost a bit of tannic grip here. Just lacking a bit of complexity and length at this age, but the class is evident and I still enjoyed this, both chilled and as it warmed to room temperature. Difficult to resist, although a second bottle shows a persistent faint note of volatile acetone that detracts.
