Wednesday, April 4, 2018 - Crimson to ruby, medium legs. Aromas of strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, sour cherry, mushroom, forest floor, light toast, cedar, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, Herbes de Provence; faint garrigue and green olive. On the palate, sour fruit and spices dominate. Medium body, polished texture. Medium finish; acidity medium to medium-plus. Overall impression: varietally correct, solidly balanced. At $17, QPR is average for domestic wine, but below average if compared to Chilean PNs. Drink now or in 2019.
