Tuesday, April 10, 2018 - First at a tasting, then finished with dinner at Smith & Wollensky. Starting to retreat from where it was last year but still impressive. A welcome respite from the harshly tannic 2015’s. Perhaps the lamb chops (which paired beautifully) but the tannins seemed tamed. Nice depth and vigor though.
