2014 Hyland Estates Pinot Noir

Community Tasting Note

Does not like this wine:

70 Points

Sunday, April 15, 2018 - The wine looks fine enough, very strong nose, notes of cherry, toasted oak, and cinnamon. Day one drinking this and it was very big and over powering, not at all what I'd expect from an Oregon Pinot. Dark fruits and spices abound. On day two, it slightly back off but remained very in your face, tasted of bing cherry and menthol, resulting in a bit of a cough syrupy flavor to me. Not the biggest fan.
