My last of 3 bottles. Notes of black cherry and stewed dark fruits, with maybe just a hint of earth. No tannins to speak of, seems like high acid. M- complexity, M- finish. Not at all impressed. I liked the previous two bottles even less. It’s softened somewhat with a bit of age, but hasn’t gotten any better.

Hadn’t had since last year. Great surprise. Aged well, smoother, dark cherries and spices. Tartness and higher acidity typical of Oregon value pinot has gone down in a good way.

The wine looks fine enough, very strong nose, notes of cherry, toasted oak, and cinnamon. Day one drinking this and it was very big and over powering, not at all what I'd expect from an Oregon Pinot. Dark fruits and spices abound. On day two, it slightly back off but remained very in your face, tasted of bing cherry and menthol, resulting in a bit of a cough syrupy flavor to me. Not the biggest fan.

Medium ruby color with medium legs. Earth tones and black pepper are prominant on the nose. Black cherry and jammy notes dominate the palate. Long silky finish. Should have some aging potential.

Solid balance of fruit and earth. Clean, lively, and surprisingly piercing. Graphite, black sand, and mineral ore notes linger in the background. Structured and balanced.

Medium plus nose is floral, jasmine, roses, red cherry, dark strawberry. Palate has nice structure, beautiful fruit, cherry layers are expressive, hint of red dust, fresh earth or tea leaf, but mostly about the fruit. Finish has structure too, medium plus alcohol and light tannins.

Very good wine. Layers of spice and smoke and leather, with very little jam. Will improve with age, still quite alcoholic on the front, but has all the right characteristics I like in the more French style Pinot.
