Thursday, April 19, 2018 - Consumed with rare grass fed steak and stuffed mushrooms. Splash decanted and consumed over a three or four hours. Dense and rich, though savoury, fruit on the nose. Blackberry fruit, a little peppery spice and quite thick on the palate. This is alcoholically warmer than I remember it and was popped in the fridge for 20 minutes to take the edge off. I suspect I've been drinking too much French stuff as this also felt a little clumsy and unwieldy as well.
