Friday, April 20, 2018 - Mostly Riesling Tasting at Domain Trimbach (Ribeauvillé, France): Incredibly fine, detailed, and delicate. Lovely dry stone fruit with sensational minerality. Not particularly weighty or dense compared to other vintages of Clos Ste. Hune. Finish is drenched in soil. Classic and built to age. I would compare it to vintages such as 2004 and 1999. No question in my mind that it is superior to the 2011 which I tasted last year.
