Monday, May 7, 2018 - Strangely, this comes across as rather fragile today. It's got most of the expected features of a 2009 Ambroise wine on the nose (black fruit and spicy new oak), but compared to previous bottles the palate feels much less firm and sturdy. It's aromatic and open for business, but it lacks structure and tannic grip. On the finish I think I detect a hint of carbon dioxide. Probably faulty. Not rated.
