Friday, May 18, 2018 - After finishing off the last of my '04s, this was the first bottle from a case of the Uccelliera Brunello. If the rest of the case is this good, I'll be a very happy boy. The nose was amazing and the taste just as good. I'm hoping this case with tide me over until I start popping a few of the 2010.

As an aside, seeing the John Gilman score for this wine is more evidence that our palates are about 180° in opposition, particularly in Bordeaux and Brunello.
