Wednesday, June 20, 2018 - In Koi Samui for a friends birthday party. This was served at the correct temperature despite the tropical breezes but I was quite underwhelmed. Decent controlled effervescence but really quite closed and showing little Dom characteristics. No brioche, no Dom power, I felt like it was missing some acidity and energy. Ripe round fruit but again nothing really stood out. Worth waiting a while before retrying this as I feel it is in a sleeping phase. Drink the 04 or 02 right now which is far superior drinking!
