Wednesday, June 27, 2018 - Clear, deep and ruby in appearance. Blueberry, liquorice, clove and violets, with predominate secondary notes of vanilla coming from the French oak with a little nutmeg. Decent finish. I was sceptical at first but this really integrated and balanced out after a couple hours open, but I don't feel it has the acid to carry it past the medium term. Drink over the next 3 years.
