Thursday, August 16, 2018 - Glaezter top, vintage 2012
Old vines, low yield, open cask fermented with pigeage, 14months new oak, primary french, unfiltered

Primary aromas with blackcurrant dominating.
On the secondary and tertiary notes prunes, vanilla, coffee and liquorice
Medium-plus body but surprisingly light viscosity.
Fruity attack, blackcurrant, dark cherry
Mid palate with hints of orange zest and liquorice
Finish with acidity and alcohol dominating. Ok length/complexity/balance, surprisingly mild tannins.
A bit overpriced
