Saturday, August 18, 2018 - Immediately showed a powerful and typical Cayuse syrah nose, with lots of dark plums, charred wood, roasted meat, complex. Rich and full on the palate, perfectly balanced, very drinkable. Tannins are well in the background to the concentrated fruit. Slightly hot on the aftertaste. No need to age further but will easily last many more years.
