Friday, October 5, 2018 - When first opened, what hit me was the strong (yet not unpleasant) smell of barnyard / horse fur notes. After about 10 min of air, it mostly blows away, leaving a nose mainly of cherries and mineral.
Velvety red fruit dancing on the tongue, together with bright acidity. Medium finish. Should age well. Will drink my case of magnums over a decade.
Though I liked this wine, I preferred the 2016, which was a more serious wine.
