Friday, March 2, 2018 - NV CAMILLE-SAVES CUVEE ROSE BOUZY- as stated on the back label [see photo], this had 60% Chardonnay Bouzy Grand Cru, 28% Pinot Noir Bouzy Grand Cru and 12% Bouzy Rouge, a well-known Bouzy red wine produced from grapes picked in the best locations in the “terroir”; the colour was dark pinkish red; it was full bodied, rich and bountiful with red raspberry and red cherry fruit most prominent; it really tasted like a good spritzy Pinot Noir which is surprising given the high % of Chardonnay, but I presume the still red overcomes any dominance; in fact, the Chardonnay contributes nicely to the overall acidity.
