Wednesday, November 7, 2018 - My first Scarlett Reserve. Decanted for 3 hrs and drank from decanter over the next 4 hours. This wine is a mouthful. Red and black fruit fills the mouth with a touch of sweetness. Very smooth. An gorgeous Mike Smith creation. If this was the only wine I had to drink for the rest of my life, I'd be ok with that. Thanks to Csimm1161 for the recommendation.

11/26/2018 10:41:00 AM - A friend had the 16 Reserve last night and didn't think it was nearly as good as 15. So take that for what it's worth...I've heard 16 for them just isn't as great as it should be.

11/26/2018 10:52:00 AM - When I tried the ‘16 it had just been bottled (so full disclosure there), but for my palate, the ‘15 seemingly has added layers of concentration, intensity, and complexity that I don’t know if the ‘16 will achieve. I’d personally rather seek out more ‘15 (even with the ‘16 discounted), but that’s just me.
