Saturday, June 21, 2008 - Deep smoky red color. Strawberry, cherry, cinammon, tart cranberry, tea, and smoke on the nose. On the palate, tart cherry and cranberry dominate with tea and spice framing nicely. The finish is long and acidic with fruit tannins dominating at the end. If the tannins can resolve, this will be a winner. For now, pleasant enough, but not wholly integrated nor balanced.
