Wednesday, October 10, 2018 - "2019" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/7/2018-10/12/2018 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {screwcap, 10.5%} Despite its youth this seems to be developing quickly, with massive apricot and honey aromas, with a burnished quality. The palate is luscious and honeyed, rich with botrytis. Medium-sweet, with medium acid – but not enough to really lift it properly in my view – and medium/full weight; it’s as rich as you’d want although a bit more acid would counter the hollow character I seem to detect on the medium-length finish. Might improve in the shorter term.
