90 Points

Saturday, December 1, 2018 - A private dinner with friends (at home): Magnum - a very kind gift from Frank. Mature but lively appearance; sweet and glossy cherry fruit on the nose, spicy depth; lovely Pomerol typicity on the palate, crushed red berries and earth,
energetic and fresh, medium body, slightly chewy tannins; touch of milk chocolate on the finish, good resonance and length. Not the most complex of wines, but drinking very well after a decade.
