Friday, December 14, 2018 - Decanted for about an hour and it was enjoyable although still quite tannic. More fruit emerged beyond an hour and particularly the next evening. Still a massive wine. The color is literally black with just some purple highlights. Flavors are similar with blackberries and earth. I would love to try an older vintage and see how it softens. Fun style of wine at a nice price point.
