Monday, January 28, 2019 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. I just don't get what people see in this wine. My second try at it... My only notes say..."UGH, tannic, raisiny fruit" I find nothing attractive about it. The comments by the likes of Vinous, Decanter and WA are in no way consistent with the swill I am drinking... Someone should teach the pourers at the table how to decant a wine before serving such a big, young wine?!?
