Thursday, February 7, 2019 - Reductive nose on opening, but really opened up with 3 hours in the decanter. Deep crimson appearance, high alcohol. Stewed fruit, spice, dried herbs on the nose. Medium bodied, medium plus acid, medium tannins. On the palate, generous ripe red fruit, herbs, minerals. Incredibly fresh and delicious, really long finish. Really punches above its weight. Still very young, drink in 5-10 years.
