Saturday, December 15, 2018 - Pierre Gonon’s St Joseph 2016 is, as expected, extremely delicious and also close to the definition of syrah from the northern Rhone. The fruit is suprisingly dark and is complemented by typical aromas like raw meat, bacon, black pepper, black olives and pine. Very nice texture, slightly chewy, and high acidity. Very, very nice today. Will probably keep and improve. Love this.
