Thursday, March 21, 2019 - A bit of camphor and black cherry on the nose. On the palate, the black cherry fruit is quite ripe and the texture is fairly rustic and grippy with good intensity and notes of woodsmoke and red spice. Finishes powerful with a raw mineral crunch and dry tannins. Good now with food but needs time to soften up. A very intense, ripe style of Brunello. 90+
