Wednesday, March 27, 2019 - Just arrived from the winery. 100% syrah. Brought to lunch with client in case he wanted to have some. Pop, decant and pour. This is a plush, fruit driven wine. Will compare with the Kenefick, which is whole cluster. Palate is fruit, red fruit, cherry and plum and raspberry. A tiny bit of pepper, but not a lot. Ready for business now. Tastes quite delicious. This is a modern California wine a la Mike Smith. He says it's cold climate syrah. Not sure if that explains the fact that this is fruity and not spicy.
