88 Points

Monday, April 8, 2019 - Light to medium crimson red with traces of purple. Limited viscosity.
Smokey, earthy nose with rose water, dried rosemary, vanilla, licorice and raspberry.
A medium bodied, ripe, black fruited palate, with an edge of ruby grapefruit, followed by pronounced oak. Ends with a hit of heat from the alcohol, plus firm drying tannins.
Put it down for a few more years.
Would have been better if not for the oak and heat which are both a little overdone.
