Monday, April 8, 2019 - Had been sitting on this bottle for many many years and served it with a traditional Piedmontese dish of Panissa Risotto. I see the mass appeal of this bottle - the touch of French Oak lifts the aromas and gives the wine a roundness and upfront flavors that Nebbiolo usually lacks. It makes the wine much more approachable and enjoyable. On top of that, the strength of this vineyard can easily be seen with the complex flavors, intense acidity, and fine astringency. It’s a magnificent effort.
