| Tasted by RY on 4/12/2009 & rated 92 points: My first encounter with this producer. Modern style Barbaresco. Suprisingly open and drinkable even without extensive decanting - This has not shut down. Clear, light ruby red color with a very primary nose of mainly floral and rose petal nebbiolo aromas. Quite dense and chewy in the mouth and while tannic it had enough cherry fruit to balance this out. This sings Nebbiolo through and through but not sure if it sings Barbaresco. (815 views) |
