Tuesday, June 4, 2019 - Open at least 1 hr before, aereate. Medium aromas of black fruits, dried leaves, tar and camphor. Off-dry, medium acidity, medium(-) tannin, high alcohol and medium(+) body. Palate full of ripe blackberries, vanilla, sweet spice, licorice, and grilled steak/leather. Significant residual alcohol heat, even after 1 hr. Smooth, slightly overconcentrated, and a bit bland. Medium length and rather sweet finish falling off quickly. Great to accompany a barbecue party.
