Saturday, August 10, 2019 - Disgorged in 2017. The most disappointing bottle I’ve had. Thin, unyielding, and missing so much character and distinction on both the nose and palate. Disappointed, but not surprised.
With some air, it improved, but not enough. With Vilmart Rubis bottles always being just barely above average, I think this’ll be my last purchase from this producer. Onto better things.

8/11/2019 10:05:00 AM - Curtis, if these are not doing it for you, then as recommendations, I would suggest Hugues Godme Rose, from Verzenay. I had another bottle tasted blind a few weekends ago and it was excellent. You can find these for less than Vilmart. Also, Mousse Rose Effusion or Marguet Shaman Rose. Not sure if you have tried any of these but they are all Rose favorites of mine.
