Fairly expressive nose and a full, round palette. Powerful and lengthy finish. Vanilla, candied orange peel, and marzipan nicely balanced with granite and straw. Just a hint more acidity would have taken this from outstanding to exceptional.

Edit: I spoke too soon. After a little more air time, everything evolved. The acidity increased along with the minerality. A pleasant element of funk also arrived on the scene. This is something far superior to its younger self.
