Such a rare and fascinating bottle. At 12 years old, tremendous complexity and the balance we perfect...I can't imagine that it could have been any better than this. With that said, I wouldn't worry at all to lay any more of these down for another few years (if only I had more of this). Apricot, almond, quince, granite, strawberry, rich backbone of minerality. Rather full bodied for a white...or medium bodied for a rosé. The tannic nature and incredibly long earthy finish resonate with power. Such a wildly good wine.

Fantastic wine from one of my favorite wine producers in the world. This was very complex and deep, but could have gone for several more years. Very expressive nose showing coffee, dark chocolate, black cherry and leather. The pallet is full and has a wonderful grip. The notes of dark cherry baking spice are are the forefront, with coffee and bitter chocolate on the mid. Long winding finish. I wish I had another bottle...

Such an awesome bottle to drink with sweet potato and mint curlurgioni and a lamb Raby. Fairly expressive nose showing red and purple fruit, tarragon, loam, and candies orange peel. The pallet was medium in weight and very expressive. It followed the nose in the notes, but with amplification (especially the red fruit). The finish is very long - over a minute and runs the gamut of all of the layers experienced throughout the taste. Outstanding bottle!

11/29/2020 12:05:00 AM - I was researching an auction and noticed you rated the 1992 Muller-Catoir Haardter Herrenletten Riesling Eiswein a 100. It's up at K&L Wines if you search for "1990 & 1992 German Riesling" link below. Figured you would want to know about another bottle of it in the wild.

P.S. Hope this isn't against the rules!
