Monday, September 2, 2019 - This is an unbelievable second wine. It's so savory and earthy and old school, but doesnt lack fruit. 2012 can be a bit forward and hedonistic but this certainly didnt go that route. It almost has the minerality and gravel to be a pessac or some other left bank. Blind you would be forgiven for saying corison or old forman. Some may say it's too green for them, but its right in my wheelhouse. Chapeau.
