Community Tasting Note

Friday, September 27, 2019 - We've been looking forward to tasting this wine since we picked it up several weeks ago. Dark garnet purple color, once opened the bouquet was wonderful. Flowers, tobacco, black currant. Medium to full body, smooth and almost silky. Young. No sharp edges. Solid, tight. Over 6 hours the bouquet opened a bit more. As tight at 6 hours as it was at 30 minutes. Just a very young and potentially great wine. This is a wine to age and track its development. Looking forward to comparing it to the 2015, which we found during a recent trip out of town.
