Tuesday, October 1, 2019 - Initially a bit lean but continued to put on weight and filled up over 2 hours lunch. Advanced in color, almost look like a wine from 80s or 90s. Clean floral nose, tannins mostly resolved. More like ‘93 Burg than ‘02 Burg with slightly elevated acidity. Enjoyable bottle. Lunch at St Pierre, good restaurant, foods and services were certainly Michelin 2 Star standard. Seared Scallop starter and Yamanashi Peach desert were fantastic.
