Wednesday, October 16, 2019 - Since I was able to procure four more bottles, I splurged and opened up one despite the fact I told myself not too far at least a year or so. Nothing to add to my prior note of 9/26/18. This is just phenomenal wine. "94 for its youth...can only get much better. Super. If i smelled this blind, I would have said it was 10+ years old. This is classic, old-world styled CDP. Excellent wine here folks. Smells of garrigue, barnyard, mint, leather, cigar tobacco, dirt and some hints of flowers. Deep red in color with the tannins well present throughout. Light in texture (youth) with a taste of herbs, berries, blueberries, stewed fruit and and figs. It finishes with a long fade out of black tea and sweet cooking spices...."
