Monday, October 21, 2019 - In Magnum. The nose is overwhelmed by vanilla which bothered me from a pure tasting perspective. It hid a beautiful cabernet nose. On the palate the wine is magnificent, with the purity of the cabernet. Silky and elegant. The wine was paired with Pekin duck and oisin sauce, which was perfect as it inhibited the vanilla. Great pairing.
