Thursday, November 7, 2019 - Always look forward to each fall and my Turley allotment. This is the first of the 2017s that I’ve tried and I’m certainly intrigued. Popped and decanted, but really didn’t need anytime to open up. Big nose of dark fruit and the palat follows suit with some mild spice. Although heavy on the alcohol, it was complimentary in my opinion. Tannins and acid suggest it’s got some potential to age, but best drunk within the next decade. Overall, a very good Paso Zinfandel for sure!
