Bordeaux Flight Three - Wine Three:

With the field narrowing, and knowing the house style's reputation for power and verve, knew this had to be the Gloria. It did not disappoint. It showed as one of the youngest wines of the tasting, and with the greatest further aging potential on account of its medium plus acid and medium tannin. It can rest for another decade and might improve.

A top three wine among the 2009 Bordeaux to this palate, likely 2nd overall, behind the Lilian Ladouys, and just ahead of the Prieuré-Lichine.
