Thursday, November 21, 2019 - Lots to like, but a bit of a strange tension between the aged secondary notes and the still-very-present primary ones. Tasted as if someone had poured a cup of Beaujolais nouveau into a 12yo Brunello. Evened out quite a bit on day 2, with primary notes fading and butterscotch emerging on the finish. Probably best with a 2+ hour decant.
