Thursday, November 28, 2019 - Opened evening before Thanksgiving, and that wasn’t enough to bring wine into its own. Seemed young, not quite yet wine. Vac sealed remaining half and 11/30/2019 it was truly a fine wine, with mature hints of liquor. As a Bordeaux drinker, my forays into Burgundy are infrequent and tentative, but this adjusted my thinking positively.
Wonder why anyone would order a good red in a restaurant, where they’re likely not going to decant, and of course tripling the price.
