Friday, November 29, 2019 - Lovely 'classic' claret nose; brambles, blackcurrant, earth, leather, sous bois, cigar box, slight redcurrant sourness, woody spice. in the mouth the wine has medium plus intensity acid and tannins that are leathery and dry out the palate a little . Red and black fruit persist joined by a little clove and aniseed. Yum.
