Sunday, December 15, 2019 - Drank the Gloria ‘09 and the Sammarco ‘09 in that order at Core restaurant in London. The Gloria was full of glorious black fruit and harmonious throughout, balancing power and finesse as so typical of the vintage. The Sammarco was more minerally with a touch of heat on an attenuated finish. The Sammarco may need more time but the Gloria certainly came out on top this evening.
