Tasted non blind.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of dried herbs, dishwater, anise and a mix of red fruit. Flavors of red berries, plums and minerals. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now.

12/20/2019 9:12:00 AM - This was at a large wine dinner and somebody else brought it and popped it 3 hours before service to let any bottle funk to blow off but to answer your question as best as I can recall it was into the neck still.

The person that brought this bought 3 bottles over 10 years ago. They've all be stored in his custom built temperature and humidity controlled cellar so the provenance was pretty good on these as best as I can recall.

Last one of these we drank was in 2010 and it rocked. This one was beginning to show it's age. Who knows if this is representative of the wine overall or just this bottle.
