Saturday, December 21, 2019 - Outstanding! Nose is hot with baked red berries, cedar, and baking spice. Palate is super smooth and hides the 15.8% ABV well - cherry pie, red plum, vanilla, and spice. Acidity is med to med-plus, tannins are med-minus however the balance is excellent overall (though just a touch hot) and this goes down almost too easy. A great wine for a chilly night!
