Thursday, December 26, 2019 - PnP. Medium dark red. Classic Volnay nose of deep red fruit and iron. On the palate this is initially quite dense and thick with fine tannins. Over a few hours the fruit becomes more apparent and the tannins fade, yielding a harmonious whole. Lovely wine and still quite young at age 14.
