Wednesday, January 8, 2020 - Another Year, Another Napa (aka Winter in Wineland IV); 1/5/2020-1/11/2020 (Napa/Sonoma California): The baby brother of the tasting. These are some of the younger vines, etc. from the Monte Bello set of vineyards. This wine is very approachable from the start. Darker fruits. A bit earthy, a bit of dust. Very fine tannins. Suspect it will drink better with some more years, but doesn't have the same level of power and depth the the MB does.
