Friday, January 17, 2020 - The nose was remarkably fresh, showing smoky minerals, giving way to ripe strawberry, stems and all, savory garique, hinting at sweet spice, and old leather. On the palate, I found soft textures, delivering a mix of ripe black and blue berries, as a wave of brisk acidity firmed up the expression, leaving a notion of violet florals. The finish was medium in length, lingering on ripe black fruits, a coating of sweet minerals and resonating purple floral tones.

It bears mentioning, that this note was taken from a bottle opened twenty-four hours prior and held at cellar temp.
