Friday, April 24, 2020 - Didn’t want to open this, but we were cooking steaks and didn’t plan ahead. I think these usually need 7+ years from the vintage date to start showing well. This is showing well at the moment, but it is classically styled and I think it’s going to shut down soon.

The nose presented great perfumed cassis and blueberry with hints of cedar and dill from the oak. The acidity is elevated enough to provide good sparkle through the finish which is filled with abundant yet finely structured tannins which linger past the fruit.
