Friday, May 8, 2020 - Big surprise to me that this overlooked bottle was still almost as good as my last bottle 9-10 years ago. Nice bouquet with cassis and cedar with silky tannins and complex middle with more dark fruits, cedar, tobacco and a little leather. The finish lingered for a few minutes. I opened this for a Zoom tasting with a backup available but the wine was interesting enough to keep me engaged for the whole tasting. Based on this bottle I am looking for more recent vintages.
